Please do not drive pass our home

For a moment we thought that Sinterklaas would drive pass our home. Roos had to undergo surgery again on Saturday because the wound of Friday did not close. Marjanke and Roos stayed in the hospital for one night, but Sunday morning they could go home luckily. Fortunately Sinterklaas still had time on Sunday, and there was a large pile of gifts in front of our door. Thank you Sinterklaas!

Roos at the Hospital

Today Roos has been operated in the hospital. Like Stan, Roos had a hernia. All the memories of two years ago came up again. What is it unpleasant to be in the waiting room of the operating theatre. The surgery went well according to surgeon. Roos is doing well, under the circumstances. We were even visited by Sinterklaas in the hospital, who was bringing a present for Roos. We hope that Roos recovers soon.

On Sunday, November 15th the 26th edition of the Seven Hills Run was held. For me it was the sixth time I ran this road running race. The weather was beautiful and I enjoyed running. Next year again! Wednesday at 16:30 our daughter and sister Roos Ymkje was born. We are over the moon.
